For lovers of iced coffee, this is the perfect way to get undiluted flavor. Yes, it does take time, but next to no effort—plan for it and you’ll always have a jar in the fridge ready to go when you thirst for it.

You can scale this recipe however you want; you can also experiment with the coffee-to-water ratio as well as brewing time. Where you end up all depends on how strong you like your coffee: If you’d like your cold brew to function more as a concentrate—if, for example, you like your iced coffee really milky—then bring the ratio of grounds to water closer to 1:1 than 1:2, and/or extend the brewing time.
