Peel from one squash such as acorn, kabocha, or honeynut, cut into 1 inch pieces
6 tablespoons fresh herbs such as basil, thyme, or rosemary that are starting to brown (this may vary depending on the type of herb), or 2 tablespoons dried herbs
1/4cup salt
Instructions
Dehydrate squash peel in an oven set to lowest possible temperature until dry and brittle, 6-8 hours (10-12 hours in a dehydrator.) Blend into dust.
Dehydrate fresh herbs until crispy, 1-2 hours in an oven set to lowest possible temperature (2-4 hours in a dehydrator). (Your kitchen will smell wonderful). Blend separately into dust.
Mix 2 tablespoons of squash powder, 2 tablespoons of herbs, and 1/4 cup salt together.
