Sunday: Shrimp Boil

A shrimp boil, like a barbecue, a clam bake, or a pig roast, is a sure crowd-pleaser that you only get one or two opportunities to manifest in any given year. It may seem intimidating, but essentially, you add the spices and then the ingredients according to their approximate cook time (potatoes first, shrimp last) and then let everything sit and soak in the broth for twenty minutes at the end.  And, like most traditional celebratory feasts for a crowd, there are infinite variations and a ton of room for your own adaptations.
