Everything I Think About Fake Meat

Published June 3, 2020

The debate about plant-based meat is nothing new, but it’s also not dying down anytime soon. A while ago (pre-pandemic), I did an interview with Matt Galloway from the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation. He is one of my all-time favorite interviewers, and I think the segment that we taped may be the best and most informative conversation I’ve had about plant-based meat to this point.

If this is a topic that interests you (it deals with the future of our food system, so, in theory, it might), I think it’s really worth a listen. At the very least, it’s an interesting, fairly entertaining, 20-minute distraction. Not to spoil anything, but here are some of the things that Matt and I cover:

  • Impossible Whopper (not my favorite) and the state of veggie burgers.
